San Francisco Hep B Free – Bay Area

It has been a truly exciting journey to make our expansion into San Mateo County possible this year, under our new name San Francisco Hep B Free-Bay Area. It is with the support of so many leaders within San Mateo County that we have been able to make this effort possible. We held our press conference this morning in Burlingame to announce or official expansion, and our efforts in replicating the successful model San Francisco Hep B Free has created over the past decade into our neighboring County with one united voice to make the Bay Area hepatitis B free!

Thank you to San Mateo County Supervisor, Dave Pine of District 1, Councilman Wayne Lee, Peninsula Health Care District, Stanford Health Care, Lazarex Cancer Foundation, Gilead, and the Silicon Valley Lions Club for making this all possible!

To the next chapter of our organization and to another decade of success in raising awareness, increasing screening, vaccination, and linking chronically infected individual to care! #EndHepatitisB
