4th Annual AJ Strong Memorial Run - 6.5k

SF Hep B Free - Bay Area in partnership with Team Cancer Sucks and the Lazarex Cancer Foundation are hosting the 4th Annual AJ Strong Memorial Run to raise awareness for hepatitis B and liver cancer. AJ knew he had hepatitis B, but had always been told he was a "silent carrier," and had not looked at the issue as a big deal. As a triathlete, AJ was in great physical condition, didn't smoke, drink, or do drugs. In 2014, he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, directly associated with hepatitis B, passing away only three months later. This event is in memory of AJ Jabonero, and everything great he has accomplished in his life. We hope you will join us on Sunday, March 4th to raise awareness for the single greatest public health epidemic facing the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
